What Is SEO?
Search engine optimization means it is a technique or tool which will help your website /web page to rank in the SERP(search engine result page) page.
If your site is at the top of SERP page, this will help you to drive more traffic to your website. By default on the SERP page, 10 results are there.
If you want to know the rank of your site if you are not ranking within 10(google SERP page can show up to 100 results only in the first page), you can download a google extension called SEO quake, and you can change the search result from between 10 to 100 as per your requirement.
How To Change Search Results Per Page?
- Go to setting on search result
- Click on search setting
- Change how much you want per page
Types of Search Engine Optimization
in on-page optimization, you have to do optimization on your blog. SEO required some elements like H1 TO H6 heading, bold and italics, keywords, links, tags, alt image, description, title.
These are the main elements for optimization of a blog, but I always used to tell this line that content is the king.
For this user have to use some technique and strategies in the outside of the blog. This optimization technique helps you more than on-page optimization. This will help you to drive more traffic to your blog/website.
From small business websites to big business websites all are mainly focusing on off-page optimization than on-page optimization. Mostly all the bloggers are also following this technique.
Some effective Ways Of Off-Page Optimization
- blog commenting
- article submission
- directory submission
- social bookmarking
- image submission
- video submission
- forum posting
- web 2.0 websites
- QR code
- profile creation
- info-graphic submission
- google my business
- guest blogging
- classified submission
- business review
- q & a
These are some technique which will help you torank in the 1st position of search engine result page because 2 to 3 % of people are those who will go to the 2nd page.
There is a very fewer chance for this. So if your website will rank in the 1st page your website will get more traffic.
There are some competitor SEO analysis tools are there which will help you to estimate your website traffic, and you can identify your website error via SEO competition analysis.
Using competitor analysis, you can identify more things like
- find competitors keyword

What Is Competitor Analysis?
This analysis helps you to investigate in your competitor’s website to know that what keyword, what strategy what type of backlinks, etc, they are using for their site to come on top, where your competitor better than you, all you can find with using this analysis.
Here Are Some Steps You Should Follow These To Analyze Your Competitor?
In digital marketing content is king, and content keywords are the second king. Without keyword, you can not get any profit.
If you want to know the keyword of your competitor I will tell you one tool which I am using personally and which is used by some other professionals.
We called this tool a professional tool also. Its name is SEMRUSH(sign up today to start your analysis). Use it today after reading this blog.
On-site Optimization Analysis
You can analyze your competitors, keyword density, meta description and internal linking using this on-site optimization analysis.
Keyword Density Analysis
Keyword density is the percentage of times a keyword or phrase appears on a web page compared to the total number of words on the page.
You will find that keyword analysis tool in some websites like ninjas.com, seointro.com, tools.seobook.com, etc. But as per google density should be 2% to 3% of total content…
It consists of meta title and meta description. Here you can analyze how they are writing their meta title and description.
Internal Linking Analysis
Internal linking means how your pages in your website linking with each other, How your competitor’s internal links are the difference from you.
If you are using WordPress then I think you are aware of Yoast SEO plugin is the best tool for internal linking.
Analyze The Content Of Your Competitor
In content analysis, you will find all the page URLs, their media data, heading texts, word count, internal links, external links. Your SEO ranking depends on the quality of your content, and your content should be unique from your competitor.
Google my Business
In this google my business page you will find page follower, maps reviews, images. You can set as your all these what your competitor set. This is especially preferable for local business.
Social Media Analysis
If you have optimized content/blog, website and you are driving traffic to your site but if you are not interacting with your audience or customer means you are losing your audience. So you can create a social page for your website.
In this analysis, you can see how much social audience they have. How they are engaged with their audience and how they are doing marketing on social sites.
YouTube is the second biggest search engine in the world. If your competitors are using for drive traffic or increase the engagement ratio, then you should also start youtube marketing and take advantage of this.
Offline Strategies Analysis
If your competitor is doing some traditional offline marketing strategy then you should also start some offline marketing like for brand awareness you can advertise through radio ads, direct mail, television, billboard, magazine.
If you want to know what are the offline technique they are using, then you can search for following like
flyer + competitor website name
postcard + competitor name
mailer + competitor name
news + competitor name
First, you have to keep this in mind that content is the king. More backlink more SEO ranking website. But those backlinks should be quality backlinks.
If your competitor is getting a backlink from a reputed site, then they are taking more advantage, so you have to mirror this for your website also.
So there are some tools and websites are there through which you can analyze competitors backlinks.
